September 19, 2015, K-6

Happy Saturday everyone!

I trust that this weekend finds some rest for each of you and your families.

We have had a fantastic week at MCA in AIM Elementary French!!!

Grades 1-6
The students are now familiar with the story lines and we began written work. Both oral and written production are scaffolded to ensure success. I have seen such tremendous efforts and achievement already in our classes. It is amazing to observe as language develops!

Kindergarten
This short class is filled with singing and laughter. We worked with numbers 1-10, colours and "bonjour, au revoir" this week. I am really enjoying accompanying these students to the lunch room. They are learning many practical french terms during this time. Phrases like "that's mine", "to the right" and "excuse me".

Please connect with me to let me know how things are going in this class with your child!
